About Innovation MINDSET Alliance

The Innovation MINDSET Alliance is a collaborative initiative designed to address the gaps in our institutions and improve our capacity, capability, and accountability to research and innovate. Through our partners, we will establish a level playing field where all students and founders, regardless of race, gender, or other factors, have equal opportunities to design and launch products and solutions that will change the world. The time has come to address these inequities by transforming the landscapes through education, innovation, and acceleration. In a country where economic disparities persist, our vision is to empower underserved communities, particularly communities of color. We propose developing a network of interconnected innovation and entrepreneurship centers at HBCU and MSI campuses to address historical inequalities through research and commercialization. Under the banner of Innovation MINDSET HUBs (Historically Underrepresented Businesses), we seek to change the outlook for our institutions, businesses, and communities.
