About Insect For Future

IFF è una Società Benefit iscritta nel Registro delle Start-up innovative nata nel 2023 a Parma, con l’obiettivo di sviluppare allevamenti di insetti commestibili al fine di creare prodotti alimentari sia per nutrimento umano (farine, prodotti da forno, snack, barrette energetiche…) che animale, in particolare nel settore Petfood. Con il supporto e le competenze di una serie di professionisti (entomologhi, veterinari, agronomi) e in particolare con la collaborazione e la ricerca dei professori del Dipartimento di Scienze degli Alimenti e del Farmaco dell’Università di Parma, abbiamo scelto di entrare in un mondo tanto nuovo quanto affascinante: il Novel Food. La fase di ricerca universitaria sarà uno dei cardini fondamentali dell’intero progetto che è composto da due fasi distinte: l’allevamento degli insetti e la produzione di farina da essi derivate.
