About Inside The Lines Tennis Academy
Inside The Lines Tennis Academy is owned and operated by Gavin and Ann-Maree Yip. Gavin has played tennis since the age of 6 and grew up playing tennis in the Inner West – Gavin’s passion for tennis has led him to complete his qualifications and is a Club Professional Tennis Coach (Level 2). Gavin has been coaching at Schools for 12 years and in that time has introduced and shared his passion for the sport with generations of children. Gavin progressed into elite squads and then competed at local, club, regional, state and national competitions throughout his junior years. Gavin knows tennis like the back of his hand and is always available to chat about your tennis needs. Gavin is also a qualified stringer, and has string racquets for Babolat Australia. Gavin has strung at many events and tournaments for professionally ranked Tennis players. He has been a stringer at the Sydney International since 2010, he strung at the Champions Tour in Sydney in 2009 and he was the stringer for the APIA Wheelchair International in 2014. His passion for the sport has led him to racquet customisation, Gavin realised that along with coaching, having a racquet customised to your needs would maximise your advantage ensuring that you play your best game, every time. Ann-Maree’s expertise lies in the details and is the support behind the scenes. Ann-Maree’s love of tennis started at an early age and she continues to have a hit and a giggle when ever she can. Our motivated, enthusiastic and professional staff ensures every player gets the most out of their game on the court and with Gavin being able to customise your racquet we have all of your needs in one handy location!
