About Insight Behaviour Support Services
Insight Behaviour Support Services (Insight BSS) provides specialized clinical services for youth and adults typically aged 14-25 years-old who are dual diagnosed with a development need and mental health diagnosis as well as engage in high rates of behaviours such as aggression and self-injury. Insight serves individuals where they live, typically in a small community-based home consisting of 2-4 individuals supported 24/7 by direct support workers (e.g. group home / program, family home, independent living). We currently operate in Oshawa and Ajax to the east, Burlington and Oakville to the west, and Hamilton, Brantford and St. Catherine’s to the southwest. This is a dynamic clinical practice that is growing across Southern Ontario.
