About Insight Women's Center
The goal of Insight Women's Center is to provide compassionate, accurate and informative options counseling during a woman’s initial visit to the center for an unexpected pregnancy. Counselors fully acknowledge each woman’s responsibility to determine her own choice regarding her pregnancy while providing information about parenting, the facts about adoption, and the spiritual, emotional and physical risks of an abortion. IWC does not refer for abortions. While desiring women to choose life for her unborn baby, regardless of the path chosen, each woman will be treated with dignity and respect. IWC provides a window to the womb for abortion-minded women through ultrasound. Limited ultrasounds are provided FREE of cost. IWC medical services are overseen by a licensed physician and sonograms are read by a doctor of radiology. Women who chose to parent are given an opportunity to enroll in the Earn While You Learn program. This video-based educational program teaches women about pre and post-natal care, infant care, parenting and life skills. Not only are the clients earning baby bucks to be spent in the onsite Buttons and Bows Boutique but are developing healthy strong relationships with IWC volunteers. The center offers a post-abortion study. This small group meets in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere which helps women recover from the choice of abortion. Additionally, IWC offers Child Loss Retreat weekends. After-abortion retreats and Miscarriage/Early infant loss retreats are offered. For many individuals, these retreats help bring healing and closure.
