Insignia Digital Asset Manager: is designed for a school district to manage and host its digital resources locally. Metadata in Insignia Digital Asset Manager is based on Dublin Core Schema. Staff can create different categories and assign permissions to them, such as who can perform online searches. It supports all standard formats supported by HTML5. Insignia Resource Manager: is designed for a resource center in a school district to catalog and distribute resources to school teachers. Staff can print a packing slip, manage advanced bookings, routing, and set up delivery schedules. Services: Conversion: Insignia has converted data from almost every system on the market. Insignia can also offer data clean up services, which is most cost effective during migration. No Re-Barcoding: When migrating to Insignia, you do not have to re-barcode your books or patron cards. Hosting: Insignia can be installed locally or hosted by Insignia. If your library or district has limited IT resources, then hosting is a good option for your library. We'll manage all product updates and back-ups while you retain ownership of your data, and the Insignia Library System will perform much faster with 24 hour availability from anywhere with a browser.
