About Inspire. Educate. Empower (INEDEM)

Inspire. Educate. Empower. (INEDEM) is a non-profit organisation based in Sierra Leone. INEDEM was established in 2011 to support children and youth in Sierra Leone through education, health, and leadership initiatives. Our programs and activities are designed to help them reach their goals and fulfil their highest potential. We have a team of advocates across the globe who are strong believers in the ability of our young people to succeed. OUR BELIEFS AND VALUES Our vision and values are based on listening to children and youth (particularly those in the greatest need), our supporters, and volunteers. Respect We believe that respect for person, purpose, and life in all its complexities is integral to the proper functioning of our society. Equality We believe in equal opportunities for all. We believe that no individual should feel oppressed because they have not been accorded the same opportunities as others. We believe that diversity in society is necessary to eliminate stagnancy and foster the expansion of ideas. Community We believe that children and youth can effect change in their communities through intentional commitment and access to necessary resources. We believe in fostering community engagement to increase the social supports that are integral to their growth and well-being. Continued Learning We believe that continued learning is necessary to expand skills and skill sets. We believe that continual personal development is integral for professional growth.
