IPS was formed in 1996 with the objective of specialising in the design, installation, test & commissioning of communications systems for London Underground Limited. Over the years the company has achieved a £12 million turnover per annum, a staff force of 190 full-time employees and expanded into new sectors (Health, Education & Leisure). Many of our key staff have been with IPS since the outset and hence developed long term relationships with our high profile customers. IPS provides a complete communications solution from system specification and integration, conceptual and detailed design, equipment selection and procurement, enabling works, installation and test, commissioning & handover and maintenance for the following systems: CCTV - Monitoring & Recording and Control Room Management - Passenger Information & Emergency Services - Public Address & Voice Evacuation (PAVA) - Visual Customer Information - Security and Intruder Detection - Networking - Clock Systems - Telephony & Radio Systems IPS has designed new integrated systems, assisted clients developing generic solutions as well as applying clients’ generic system designs to specific stations on both LU and Network Rail.
