About Institut International de Lancy - IIL
For more than 120 years, IIL has offered students an international education of excellence, combining academic rigour and personal development. Ages 3 to 19 English, French and Bilingual programmes Non-profit. An IB World School, IIL is authorised to teach the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). In addition, it is a Cambridge University examination centre and students sit for IGCSE examinations on campus. As a member of the GESBF (Groupement des Ecoles Suisses qui préparent au Baccalauréat Français) and under the aegis of the Academie de Grenoble, the School prepares students for the French Baccalaureate and for the Diplôme National du Brevet. IIL is developing the international dimension of its educational project by also offering its students the opportunity to take the High School Diploma. In partnership with Academica Dual DiplomaTM, students have the opportunity to follow a dual diploma course from the time they enter seconde or première. The aim is to obtain the American High School Diploma alongside the French baccalauréat. The school offers a safe and nurturing environment where students can flourish and fully develop their potential. Empathy and community spirit are encouraged through our anti-bullying programme, KiVa, which is unique in Switzerland. Moreover, the learning environment benefits from outstanding modern facilities and advanced technology designed to meet teaching demands and promote innovation.
