Research at the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal The Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal, a rehabilitation hospital for the elderly, is known for its double mission, that of research and teaching. The research centre of the Institut The research centre of the Institut is part of a research network acknowledged by the Fonds de la recherche en santé du Québec (FRSQ). These teams are part of a network of national-- including many from the FRSQ network-- and international collaboration. Such cooperation establishes links between Québec and Canadian research teams and bridges North and South American interests with those of Europe and Asia.
