About Institute for Applied Argument Research (IFAA)

The Institute for Applied Argument Research (IFAA) is an economically, religiously and professionally independent cooperative based in Bern. It has been involved in the wide range of topics from and communication since 1991. Several experienced scientists on the IFAA Board of Directors guarantee its complete independence. Our employees develop sustainable decision-making bases and sustainable, future-oriented solutions for the central challenges of our society for our institutional customers. In 2006, IFAA was officially listed of unique EU research service providers by the Joint Research Center (JRC) in Seville. This accreditation allows European institutions, authorities and administrations in Brussels and in the individual member states as well as ministry or government agencies to directly commission IFAA with external evaluations or research projects offline and online without any further preliminary inquiries. IFAA works in 191 countries in the 23 official languages of the European Union (EU) and in accordance with the applicable evaluation standards, IFAA is involved in two large Horizon Europe projects with the task of internal evaluation. It is participating in the Horizon Europe project “Artcast4D” which develops an opensource solution for immersive four dimensional interactive video experiences and art creation for museums and cultural organizations and in “ULTIMO” associated via ArgYou.com by fostering autonomous vehicles for public transportation in Europe. IFAA was also commissioned, among other things, with the evaluation of the STOP AIDS campaign, including focus groups or of of BeLEARN (https://belearn.swiss/) in the digital science education sector. We focus our attention on complex services and projects that require specialist knowledge, many years of experience and broad, interdisciplinary orientation skills, as well as a broad network of distinguished experts. We see the key to success in inter- and transdisciplinary cooperation.
