About Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (IMHA)
The Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis (IMHA) provides research leadership across the following disciplines: active living, mobility, the wide range of conditions related to bones, joints, muscles, connective tissue and skin, and the mouth, teeth and craniofacial region. We are one of the 13 Canadian Institutes of Health Research. IMHA supports health research communities in making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of Canadians. This includes through provision of funding opportunities, collaborating with key partners on events and networks, innovating on health research strategies, and taking the lead on promoting patient engagement to encourage inclusivity for those who have historically been excluded from participating in research. IMHA delivers events and webinars that support high-quality research and knowledge translation, providing key career development opportunities.
