About Institute of Quality Asset Management (IQ-AM)
The Institute of Quality Asset Management Pty Ltd (IQ-AM) has been expressly set up to deliver competency based training and qualifications in Asset Management and has been successfully delivering services to mining, defence, utility industry and other clients for over ten years. IQ-AM has developed and accredited formal Units of Competency and Qualifications in Asset Management that provide clients and participants with a vertically and horizontally integrated vocational training program. The development of the program was overseen by an industry steering committee approved by the Australian Government training regulator, ASQA. IQ-AM is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 22515) operating under the Australian Government’s Standards for National VET Regulator (NVR) Registered Training Organisations. IQ-AM therefore operates under a fully regulated and independently audited quality assurance framework. IQ-AM facilitators are all internationally recognised practicing Asset Management professionals, qualified trainers and assessors. IQ-AM’s CEO is a representative on the International Standards Association TC251 Committee for development of the ISO 55000 Asset Management Standards and for ISO 17021-5: Conformity Assessment – Competence requirements for certification auditing of asset management systems. Another of IQ-AM’s principal facilitators is also on TC251 and a third has worked in over five countries delivering Asset Management related consulting, cultural change and institutional strengthening projects. The IQ-AM training course Assess Others in an Asset Management Environment is recognized by the WPiAM as addressing all the required competencies for CAMA certification.
