About Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA) - Carolinas Chapter

The Carolinas Chapter of The Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA) is comprised of members from both North Carolina and South Carolina. The chapter provides an opportunity for its professional members to obtain education and information regarding the insurance industry critical to the areas in which they live. Our goal is to promote the study, research, practice, and procedure as applicable to insurance accounting, systems, and statistics. We will do this through our local chapter meeting as well as seminars, publications and conferences from our international office. The Carolinas Chapter Annual Conference brings you a two day conference with exciting educational sessions and activities. The conference targets 100 insurance professionals from the fields of information systems, accounting, tax, management and other related areas. Typically, the conference offers the opportunity for you to earn 10+ continuing professional education (CPE) credits. CPE presentations at past conferences have included, but not have not been limited to, evaluating investments, auditing standards, monitoring and control, rating agency activities, world class implementations, forensics accounting, reinsurance, and GAAP updates to name just a few. The chapter is still growing. We would welcome your input as we learn and grow together. Our chapter also offers many opportunities for volunteering.
