About Insurance Community University
The Insurance Community Center, also known as The Insurance Community/University (ICU) is a center for learning and a community for sharing. ICU began in 2010 and is one of the fastest growing providers of insurance education. The center offers more than 100 classes each year all of which qualify for continuing education (CE) in various states. Classes are taught via live, interactive webinars taught by experts in their respective fields. Course offerings span a wide range of topics appropriate for beginners and seasoned insurance personnel including basic courses (insurance 101 series); core topics such as Certificates of Insurance, Commercial Property/Liability; specialty/emerging topics, core topics AND five designation programs. Individuals can sign up for any of the classes individually OR become members of the Insurance Community/University. For one flat annual membership price, your staff can attend as many live webinars as they want each year, listen to archived webinars and access all the resources provided by ICU. Each member will have a “my space” which will record all the classes they attended live or listened to in the archive. Many offices use this to incentivize the staff and to track their education.
