We are a full service detective agency formerly known as Shannon Detective Service and recently changed our name to Insurance Fraud Specialists, Inc in 2014. The owner, Gregg Shannon possesses 39 years of actual field experience performing all types of investigations. Our company's primary focus is performing all types of insurance fraud, surveillance, locates & missing persons, backgrounds and asset locating for the insurance industry comprised of self insured's, insurance companies TPA's, attorneys, corporations and governments. We do not subcontract our cases nor do we employ apprentice P.I.'s as Gregg performs most all of the investigation work himself. Gregg Shannon got his start in 1983 as a private detective apprentice in Southern California with the Pinkerton Agency and later worked for various companies by performing both plaintiff and defence investigations. He completed his apprenticeship and became a general manager of MLJ Investigations 1989 in San Diego before starting his business in 1991. He moved his business to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1992 to encompass the entire Southwestern US and expanded into the Pacific Northwest in 1993. In 2014 his services were extended to the Southeastern US states. Gregg uses state-of-the-art surveillance equipment including GPS trackers and broadcast quality cameras & recorders since the majority of our work is surveillance. We post our equipment currently being used on our website for review that can be compared to the competition that often never actually defines theirs. We publish frequent newsletters about our industry's constant evolving equipment and technology to keep our clients up to date on the ongoing changes. We offer our services to meet clients who need surveillance performed in rural environments (because of our equipment) and or have a need for a more experienced investigator when routine investigations performed by larger nationwide vendors cannot meet those requirements.
