Insurance Service of WNY was started in Buffalo in 1966 by Herman Sapio. The agency moved to Orchard Park in 1972, where it is still located toady, and started offering personal, commercial and life insurance products to its customers. In 1998, Insurance Service of WNY joined the Northwoods Corporation, a local group of independent insurance agents. This affiliation allows our customers a selection of over 30 national and regional carriers, a knowledgeable and experienced customer service staff and an exceptional claims staff. The agency’s conveniently located offices throughout WNY, Dunkirk, Rochester and Binghamton make it easy to service our clients.
