About Integral Ecology Project for both Congo
The term ecology comes from the ancient Greek oikos, which means house, and logos means study or science. Ecology is defined as the study of the relationships between living beings and their environment, taking into account the interactions within ecosystems. The word "integral" means "complete," "whole," or "total and in the context of integral ecology, this refers to a holistic approach that integrates different dimensions: social, economic, cultural, and environmental. Brazzaville and Kinshasa are the two closest capitals in the world and belong to two countries that share the same name, which is that of the second longest river in Africa after the Nile and the second largest in the world in terms of flow: the Congo River. Both Congos are very rich in biodiversity thanks to the Congo Basin forest and essential mines for new technologies found in the DRC like Cobalt, Coltan and so on but also oil and the Mayombe forest in Congo Brazzaville and many others. So all Congolese therefore have a good reason to work together to protect the ecosystem of both Congo. The problem of climate change and global warming concerns all countries in the world and unfortunately there is the problem of climate justice because of inequalities between the poorest and richest countries, people from poor countries suffer the most. Each country must take its responsibilities because unfortunately the consequences linked to this climate crisis or ecological crisis do not exclude any country, rich or poor. For that reason, let us join our forces and let's work together hand in hand to save our common home which is burning. In Africa, we have the philosophy of Ubuntu which is not just for african people because it concerns all human beings and the translation is "I am because we are": humanity toward others. That is what Congolese have understood and work together through integral ecology for the sustainable development of the two Congo.
