Stephen Almas has done it all, from major tour production to major artists’ live television specials and high profile special events, and has made the successful transition from event productions to TV. For most of the past three decades, has worked for major promoters around the country. Steve started out in 1967 as a stagehand at his local CYO in his home town of Fall River, Mass, his first industry job was working weekends as a stagehand at the legendary Boston Tea Party. Between 1971-74, he became a Night Club Manager for a Road Island Ramada Inn night club. Managed a $600K annual budget and supervised daily logistics for a 900-seat facility. His responsible include staff training, budgets, staff schedules, negotiating artist dates and direct media event marketing. (‘73-74 New England Club of the Year.) Since 1975 Mr. Almas has worked as an independent producer of entertainment industry production and event management which included total project management, including profitability, budgets, aesthetics and negotiation with talent, vendors and staffing. Steve starting “Integrated Entertainment Service” in 1989 serving as president and sole owner, IES is a special event service turnkey agency for profit and non-profit corporate parties and entertainment events. IES has the ability to do overall concept development, management and production of events. The company’s services include developing operational plans, preparing event budgets and timelines, recruitment and supervision of facility & volunteer staff, development of sponsorship prospects, and formulation of entertainment programs. IES also offers mobile video production services with the ability to script live event production with one-on-one assistance to festival producers and promoters by develop and packaging their live events for broadcast syndication, public television, cable systems, local stations, low-power stations and DVD/video home market.
