By managing the expectations of the client and aligning the objective for the design with the goals of the project success can be accomplished. Engineering in today's market has become viewed by many as a commodity product that can be obtained by anyone with the same level of success. This concept devalues the client relationship, the support of the project objective, and can even influence the final product. At IE we believe that only through alignment with the project objective and fully understanding the client’s expectations can a relationship be developed that provides a long term productive relationship. If the service being provided does not meet this challenge, then the exchange is devalued to the point where the client can never be satisfied.
