ICS is a consulting firm with a focus on helping organizations determine their needs with regards to facilities, construction and operations. Our goal is to provide value add services with a high level of quality to Community Development Organizations, so they can optimize their impact within the communities they serve. Below you will find a list of services that can be customized to fit each client’s needs. Strategic Facilities Planning – These services are geared to assist organizations in determining their next steps and capabilities with an existing, additional or future space. Facility Assessments – This customizable assessment allows organizations to better understand their facility’s needs through prioritizing deferred maintenance and capital needs from a technical, programmatic and organizational viewpoint. ICS works with its clients to have the programmatic needs at the forefront of this assessment to help insure the usefulness of the tool. Feasibility Studies – In conjunction with a facility assessment a feasibility study can help an organization understand their current and near future financial capabilities. Futures Assessment – This assessment is a review of future goals with an organization to assist in its understanding of what will be needed from both a space and construction standpoint as well as order of magnitude cost estimating. (Often times the Facility, Feasibility and Futures scopes are done together, but not always.) Master Scheduling – When strategically planning for a new project or development it is important to understanding the overall length of a project, what its milestones are and what the critical path is. Sometimes what is overlooked in a schedule is the space in between milestones and the nuanced tasks that are needed to achieve the next milestone.
