Inter-Varsity Press, celebrating its centenary in 2028, is the leading evangelical publisher in the UK. IVP publishes leading evangelical authors from the UK and overseas including John Stott, Wayne Grudem, Amy Orr-Ewing, Don Carson, Tim Chester and Jonathan Lamb. As well as our trade books and some commentaries under the IVP imprint, IVP publishes academic titles under the Apollos imprint including the NSBT and AOTC series. IVP was previously the publishing wing of UCCF: The Christian Unions. Following a UCCF-wide strategic review in 2005, IVP was afforded organisational independence. IVP retains close ties to UCCF and remains the publisher of choice for students in the UK. We are now part of the SPCK Group, but retain our editorial independence with a separate charitable structure, unique publishing board, and require our editors to annually affirm the UCCF/IVP Doctrinal Basis.
