We regret to inform you that Interchange has permanently closed (April 2020). Free counselling, advice and information services for young people will be available via Door43 And Sheffield Futures. Our staff, board members and volunteers thank you for your support https://bit.ly/2SIApxT Our Vision ‘An accessible, age appropriate service especially for the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield, that helps fill the gap between both children and adult services and universal and specialist services, and delivers a holistic service, through a ‘one stop shop’ with key partners in the city.’ Our Values Child and Young Person-Centred We believe that all children and young people have a right to quality support, information and counselling. Through respecting and valuing children and young people’s own perceptions and evaluations of their situations and experiences we aim to support them in discovering their own solutions and achieving their full potential. We will actively involve children and young people in the design of our services through on-going consultation and evaluation. Holistic Approach We will aim to provide a holistic, socially orientated approach to emotional well-being and mental health that reflects the principles of youth work and therapy. This model emphasises the person’s capability for personal and interpersonal growth via greater self-awareness and understanding. It aims to meet the needs of the whole person.
