About Interior Womens Centre Society
We are a network of Women Centre's spanning across BC's Interior, meeting the gaps in various communities. You can find our programming in Kamloops, Kelowna, Salmon Arm and Merritt. Our programs aim to provide avenues into living-wage employment while providing additional support - paving the way for folks to fully exit poverty. Our programs are: HEART Program (Health, Empowerment and Resilience Transition Program) WORK Program (Women’s Occupational Readiness and Knowledge Program) STEPP Program (Safe Transition and Exit Pathway Peer Program) With the support of community partners, our organization is launching the new Interior Women's Leadership Network this winter, bringing advocacy and holding our governments accountable for supporting and activating recommendations for women's equity and equality across BC and Canada.
