About International ADR Council
The International ADR Council is the professional membership body for mediators and arbitrators working across the globe in dispute resolution. The International ADR Council exists to represent, promote and support all ADR professionals who come from varying backgrounds such as finance, law, medicine and even the construction industry. The IADRC is also an independent standards-setting organisation which approves mediation and arbitration training providers, promotes good practise and sets continuing professional development targets. We work internationally to open up markets to our members and to promote use of ADR in developing regions. We work with mediation and arbitration organisations around the world, to help improve ADR service provision, set standards and codes of practice. We liaise with other professional bodies and government departments to support the ongoing development of mediation globally. The IADR Council governs our work, with Council members selected to represent ADR professionals from all regions. We harness the knowledge of our Advisory Board Members and around 120 volunteer committee members to deliver the advice, support and services our members want. We continually listen and respond to our members, so we can be sure we are meeting their needs. If you wish to join the IADRC, please see the 'Membership' page on our website where you can download details and complete the online application. https://internationaladrcouncil.com/membership Are you a professional already involved in ADR? We welcome applications from people involved in ADR from all regions to join the IADRC Advisory Board. Contact us by email AdvisoryBoard@internationalADRcouncil.com The IADRC is governed by a Council. The Council agrees the strategic direction of the IADRC work, including the annual strategic business plan, changes to policy and rules, and the focus of our efforts on behalf of our diverse membership.
