About International Display Systems
International Display Systems, Inc. (IDS), a Systems Integration House, was founded in February 1982. Our principal business is the engineering, installation, and maintenance of Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS), ADA-Compliant Audio/Visual Wayfinding Systems, Public Address Systems, and Web-Integrated Solutions in/for the Global Transportation Marketplace. IDS is a general contractor with over 38 years of experience both priming large design-build construction projects and providing specialty systems integration services. Our projects typically average between $250K-$4 Million, but have been as large as $7 Million (i.e., Denver International Airport & Washington Dulles International Airport) and $7 Million (i.e., Amtrak Philadelphia 30th Street Station). IDS is a financially strong corporation. We have a completely unencumbered $4 Million Line of Credit and a $30 Million Aggregate Bond-Rating with the A+ Rated "Atlantic Specialty Insurance Company." IDS’ talented staff of program managers, project managers, systems engineers, network administrators, and field service technicians design and certify Division 1-28 plans and specifications. We professionally manage schedules and resources for all phases of construction, with a consistent emphasis and application of program management, safety management, and quality assurance and control. We also provide a full array of efficient and effective preventive and corrective maintenance services for our customers, via our 24x7 help desk and both 24x7 on-site and/or on-call SLA’s. With Corporate Headquarters in Dayton, Ohio, IDS also supports Service Centers and Construction Offices in Chicago, Nashville, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Washington, D.C. Additionally, IDS has a Regional Office in Herndon, Virginia. Further, IDS has established partnerships with Tradespeople across the USA for extended service support.
