About International Military Advisory Training Team (Sierra Leone)
IMATT's role is to provide Military Advice and help deliver training to the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces that will enable the organisation to become self supporting in the near future. Staff range from Colonel to Sgt and are drawn from UK, Can, US, Jam, Nig and Ghana. Advisors are Located within the MoD, JFC and Maritime Wing. Additional IMATT has established a staff college within the IMATT compound (Horton Academy) that aims to become a regional centre of ecxcellence for West Africa.
