About International Music Kitchen Kulturverein

IMUKI is both a space and a network – designed for everyone who loves music. Just like we do. We are Richie, Leonie, Víctor & Lisa – all musicians and music lovers with the goal of creating a creative "safe space" where we support young musicians as well as hobby musicians in expressing themselves musically and bringing their music to a wider audience. Here’s what’s planned for the International Music Kitchen: 🎶 360° Support for Bands and Musicians 🎶 Being a musician isn’t easy – and we know that. That’s why we offer full 360° support for musicians and bands. Mentoring: We provide guidance and show musicians how and where to best produce, arrange, and record their songs. We also help them prepare for their first concert with all the necessary sound engineering know-how and offer tips on good concert venues and festivals. Equipment Rental: Sometimes money or space is an issue when producing music. At IMUKI, we’re happy to lend our equipment. Workshops: Here, everyone can learn how to harmonize songs, set up instruments for a concert, or understand music theory. 🎶 Open Space for Music 🎶 The Music Kitchen is also meant to be a space where like-minded people can share their passion for music – without having to follow any standard. That’s why we offer various events in our space: Coffee & Jam: A morning without music? No way! That’s why IMUKI hosts Sunday jam sessions, accompanied by coffee and delicious breakfast treats. FLINTA Jam*: We've often noticed that jam sessions are mostly dominated by cis-men. That’s why we want to create a safe space for FLINTA* individuals to express themselves musically and play together. Pop-Up Choir: Anyone who feels like singing for a morning is welcome to join. Live Sessions: Why doesn’t Vienna have a format like "Tiny Desk"? We wondered the same thing. Young bands have the opportunity to perform a concert in our space. We record it and share it on our YouTube channel.
