The ISL Group of Schools provides a dynamic and balanced curriculum, based on reputable and highly recognised international curricula like the International Baccalaureate programmes and the International Primary Curriculum. Our teachers and students come from over fifty countries and speak nearly as many languages. This diversity makes us a truly global international school community. Drawing on the rich variety of cultures represented at the school, ISL develops in each student a global outlook, which seeks to understand and appreciate the attitudes and values of others. We value highly the learning of world languages and are one of the few schools to offer foreign or mother tongue languages as part of the mainstream curriculum beginning at a very young age, offering around twenty languages to students from Early Childhood to Grade 12. Consequently, our students retain a strong sense of self-esteem in relation to their own culture and language whilst developing a fluency and ease in working in new languages and cultures. This language focus translates to more than double the world average of IB Bilingual Diplomas. We understand that parents often feel guilty about moving children away from their extended families, cultural roots, and national education systems. However, at the ISL Schools, we make certain that we replace that loss with an enriching international education that will equip the students with the knowledge and skills needed for the 21st century.
