About International School of Skin, Nail Care and Massage Therapy
The International School of Skin, Nail Care and Massage Therapy has been training students to become wellness and beauty professionals for 27 years. The School offered the first Nail Care classes in February, 1985 and was the first state approved School for Nail Care training in Georgia. In June, 1987, the School achieved national accreditation by the Council on Occupational Education. In June, 1988, the Esthetician program was added. The School became the first in the United States to be nationally accredited for Skin Care and Nail Care training exclusively. In 2008, the School added the Massage Therapy program. It is recognized internationally for quality training, knowledgeable and credentialed Educators. Students ernoll from other parts of the USA as well as other countries. It also boasts Educators with an international background. ISSNMT is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education. This represents a national accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.The programs are approved and licensed by Georgia Secretary of State Boards of Cosmetology. ISSN is also approved by Georgia Non-Public Postsecondary Education Commission (GNPEC) to offer instruction in Massage Therapy. Other approvals include Veteran’s Training, Vocation Rehabilitation, SEVIS-immigration and naturalization to train students from other countries and approved by several companies for training.The School is also approved by the U.S. Department of Education.
