The principal certification offered by the ISFCE is the Certified Computer Examiner (CCE)®. First awarded in 2003, this certification is the result of the ISFCE’s desire to increase the level of professionalism and further the field and science of computer forensics. Accessible to candidates worldwide, this certification has become widely accepted as a prerequisite for forensic examiners, recognized by industry professionals and academic institutions alike. The CCE Bootcamp course is the premier training course offered by ISFCE Training. This program was designed to prepare students to successfully sit for the CCE Certification testing. This course provides a solid foundation in all facets of work in computer forensics. In addition, the ISFCE is continually working to develop additional training programs geared towards specialized disciplines within the field of digital forensics. The ISFCE is also the sole provider of digital evidence handling proficiency testing in the United States. This testing are routinely utilized to assist forensic laboratories in gaining or maintaining accreditation through organizations such as ASCLD/LAB, ANAB, and A2LA.
