About International Water Safety Foundation

OUR GOALS are to: RAISE AWARENESS Strengthen public awareness of drowning and the benefits of learning to swim. BUILD A CULTURE Foster communication and interdependence with those of other sectors and agendas. TAKE ACTION Teach basic swimming, water safety, CPR, and safe rescue skills. To achieve our goals, the International Water Safety Foundation developed, TREAD-A-THONS™ TREAD-A-THON™ As the fundraising mechanism of the International Water Safety Foundation 25% of donations raised go to the International Water Safety Foundation to help support drowning prevention intervention projects around the world. The remaining 75% of the funds raised goes to your team or a cause of your choice. Raising funds online is easy to do through our online system. Treaders ask for donations from family, friends, neighbors, and businesses while making them aware of the toll drowning takes on children and families globally. Donors make donations in support of preventing drownings online on your personalized donation page.
