About International Youth Summit
Since human resources are the most valuable asset, developing the younger generation for learning soft & hard skills can assure the future economic growth of any country. Current job market is becoming highly demanding and more complex day by day. Hence, addressing the skill gaps is more critical than before. Keeping that in mind, the foundation of international youth summit platform was launched in the year 2015 in New Zealand to connect the youths round the world, to provide soft skills for sustainable youth development to achieve the SDG by 2030. IYS form to support the youth to have easy access of developing soft skills for their better personal and professional life. International Youth Summit (IYS) with the support of the youth from 18 – 40 years globally, hosted it's mega event in every two years. Besides, IYS host personal and professional development conferences, national & international youth camp, youth fests, all officials conferences, youth exchange program, study tour, excursion, internship, special events / day celebrations, skills development trainings, seminars, competitions and discussion, etc. every year. 1st summit was organized in Bangladesh in 2016 with the participants from 11 countries with the slogan “Spread Across the World”. 2nd summit was held in Nepal with the participants from 19+ countries in 2018 with the slogan "Participatory Youth Leadership for Sustainable Development" The 3rd summit was schedule in Malaysia, in February-March 2020, however, due to pandemic, the summit was hosted virtually from 18 May 2020 to 17 May 2021, the longest virtual summit ever of the world history. There were 120K participants from more than 85 countries enrolled for the event online during the pandemic. The slogan was "Leave No One Behind" and "Act, Don't React" The 4th summit held in India in December 2022 with the participants from 7 countries with the slogan "Raise Your Standard".
