One of our main products is the unit-style tatami mat, made by DAIKEN using durable washi paper. Lightweight and mold-resistant, these mats come in a range of textures and natural tones from the Saien Sparkle, Saien, Seiryu, Sazanami, and Honami collections. They are ideal for meditation spaces, tea rooms, and modern interiors. Sample tiles are also available for easy selection. We also offer sealing systems named M.A.P. system powered by Maxell, which is famous for cassette tapes. Recently, damage to buildings due to air leaks has become a big problem for builders and architects. As a solution to this problem, Maxell has developed high quality easy to use products for airtight and moisture management for exterior and/or interior membrane, sheathing, and pipe penetration. M.A.P. system has complied with American standard and contributes to building the sustainable houses. For interiors, our volcanic ash–based wall panels are fire-resistant and lightweight. DAIKEN MDF panels meet both FSC/PEFC and CARB-P2 standards. Additional offerings include eco-wood cabinets, minimalist faucets, perimeter ventilation systems, and protective materials such as corner guards and non-slip sheets. Through our direct-to-consumer platform, we make high-quality, Japan-made tatami mats accessible to homeowners, builders, and designers across the country.
