About Intracare Services

We’re a growing client-centred practice located south of the river (Cockburn), led by passionate clinicians determined to provide high a quality and person-centred service for our participants. We work with a strong sense of integrity, accountability and genuine care for our participants. As clinicians who have worked at private and not-for-profits – we understand the importance of balancing autonomy and performance, but also the feeling of being valued in a workplace. We’re also committed to ongoing service improvement and adaptability guided by our clinicians. At Intracare Services, we specialise in providing occupational therapy services to adult NDIS participants and young adults transitioning out of school or home. Our team takes a holistic approach to occupational therapy, recognising that every individual is unique and requires a personalised service to achieve their goals. We strive to support individuals to enrich their lives through building capacity in day-to-day living, and through meaningful occupations. Our Services include: - Functional capacity assessments - Housing Exploration Reports (Supported Independent Living - SIL and Specialist Disability Accommodation - SDA) - Day-to-Day Living Skills (self-care and domestic tasks, such as showering, dressing, toileting routine management, cooking, transport training, employment goals and many more) - Equipment and assistive technology prescription - Seating assessments and wheelchair prescription - Cognitive assessment and interventions - Neurological capacity building - stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury - Education and Interventions - falls safety, fatigue management, sleep, anxiety management, pain management - Emotional regulation strategies - Social skills and community participation - Life stage transitions (such as routine and day-to-day planning when transitioning out of home or school)
