About Inuit Furs

Inuit Furs is a very young company, founded in early 2018, with the aim of introducing a little-known product on the market, creating female fashion accessories by using SUSTAINABLE seal fur from Greenland. Our motto: not just a bag. A story. Knowing and living Greenland means understanding the difficult lifestyle that the Inuit community, Arctic inhabitants surrounded by snow and ice, is exposed to. Winters are long, the vegetation is scarce and consequently any form of agriculture, hunting is dangerous and food must be procured by taking advantage of what nature offers. The seal, an animal that is not in danger of extinction, is one of the most important resources for these communities and hunting is conducted in the traditional way and is used exclusively for subsistence purposes. The Inuit Furs brand was born with the desire to support and unite the culture of the Arctic to the excellence of the Made in Italy products through the creation of high fashion items in a minimal, unique and exclusive style. Part of the profit is donated to a non-profit organization that works to guarantee a decent life for the children of Greenland with the opportunity of a positive development respecting their rights. Innovation, creation of awareness, development of fashion products and benevolence actions represent the most important mission of this new brand.
