About Inverarte Art Gallery
Inverarte was founded over 30 years ago by its visionary founder and director, David Adberstein, as a gallery dedicated to the promotion, acquisition, and sale of artworks by some of Mexico’s most iconic 19th and 20th-century masters. From its inception, Inverarte has been committed to offering collectors the opportunity to invest in and acquire rare and unique masterpieces that hold historical and artistic significance. Located in the heart of Mexico City, Inverarte has played a pivotal role in the art world, helping collectors, museums, and esteemed foundations enhance their collections with works by celebrated artists such as Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, José Clemente Orozco, Rufino Tamayo, Remedios Varo, Frida Kahlo, Gunther Gerzso, Leonora Carrington, and Francisco Toledo, among others. These names represent the pinnacle of Mexican artistic achievement, and Inverarte takes pride in preserving and promoting their legacies. Recognizing the growing demand for Mexican art beyond the country's borders, Inverarte expanded its reach in December 2013 by opening a second gallery in San Antonio, Texas, under the name Inverarte Art Gallery. This new location allowed the gallery to serve a broader audience, including collectors in the United States and northern Mexico, and to strengthen its ties to the international art community. In 2025, the Inverarte Art Gallery embraced an exciting new chapter by relocating to Austin, Texas, a city renowned for its vibrant and dynamic artist community. This move reflects Inverarte's commitment to fostering artistic exchange and connecting with a broader network of art enthusiasts and collectors. With decades of expertise and an exceptional roster of Mexican masters, Inverarte continues to be a trusted partner for those seeking to invest in timeless artworks and build extraordinary collections.
