About Iowa Home Care
We believe in the power of home. We believe people can be healthiest and happiest in their own homes. We also know that sometimes people need a helping hand to stay in their homes. With the assistance of a Nurse, Home Health Aide, or Therapist, people can thrive in their own homes as long as possible, avoiding hospitals or long term care facilities. This is our passion, and it’s why in 2004 Iowa Home Care was founded. What started as a small office in West Des Moines serving Central Iowa, has grown into four offices across Iowa, and we’re still expanding. Our purpose remains the same; to give clients choice in who assists them in their home, provide top-notch care, and do so with love and respect. At Iowa Home Care we make all of our decisions based on our Mission, Vision, and Values. These were not created as part of a marketing exercise, only to be filed away and collect dust. We revisit our beliefs daily and plan and provide care based on them. This is the only way to make sure we’re doing what’s best for our clients. Our Mission, Vision and Values, and the attention we pay to them, keep us client focused and ultimately ensure our own success. Our Mission compels us to provide effective, professional care and to enhance the lives with which we’re entrusted. Our Vision reminds us that we must provide services that improve our client’s quality of life and refresh their spirit. Our Values guide us to be Professional, Loving, Dedicated, A-Players. These are the standards to which we hold ourselves accountable. A client is never just a “number” to Iowa Home Care.
