About IPv6Now Pty
IPv6Now Pty Ltd is a company founded in July 2007 to provide services and training in IPv6, the new Internet Protocol. Since then we have passed a number of significant milestones: * 2007 Aug – IPv6 web hosting service became internally operational. * 2007 Nov – We launched the first Australian IPv6-only commercial website hosting service. * 2007 Dec – We contracted to supply and support Hexago (gogo6) Gateway6 brokers. * 2008 Apr – We implemented forward & reverse Dynamic DNS support for IPv6 tunnels. * 2008 Apr – The IPv6Now tunnel broker began providing commercial IPv6 tunnels with Service Level Agreements – a world first! * 2008 Jun – Our web hosting service became available on dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 servers. * 2008 Sep – We implemented full redundant multi-homed IPv6 transit connectivity. * 2008 Nov – We are contracted to build the VIC6 Testbed Network. * 2009 Feb – The first VIC6 node went live with transmissions between the PPS NOC and Ballarat. * 2009 Mar – The StudentNet collaborative environment based on IPv6 is launched. * 2009 Oct – IPv6Now was selected by Freenet as the Australian PoP for Freenet6. * 2009 Oct – We implemented Single Sign On administration for StudentNet IPv6 tunnel accounts.
