About Irish Debt Securities Association

The Irish Debt Securities Association (IDSA) is an industry association established to promote and develop Ireland as the premier European location for activities to support the global structured finance, debt securities and the specialist securities industries. A membership organisation, our members include the corporate service providers, trustees, audit firms, advisers, listing agents and other parties involved in the structuring and management of securitisations and SPVs in Ireland. Our Objectives We work to promote and develop Ireland as the top European location for activities that support global structured finance, debt securities and specialist securities industries. We contribute to and help shape the development of Ireland’s regulatory, tax and legislative framework. Through the development of industry policy and guidance papers, we define best practice in areas such as compliance, reporting and accounting. By fostering engagement and co-operation between multiple stakeholders – industry participants, government and agencies – we work to ensure that all aspects of the industry are considered in the formulation of policy and guidance. We believe in the importance of a responsible, sustainable and effective environment within which debt securities and other specialist securities can be used to facilitate transactions, create investment products and raise capital funding. Maintaining high standards of professional conduct among industry service providers and leading the industry activity in Ireland is key to maintaining and building a world-leading environment for structured finance transactions and for the issuance of debt securities and other specialist securities.
