Ironheart Welding Corp. is a family owned, Putnam County, NY based steel fabrication shop. We are AWS, OSHA, and ASME certified. Additionally, we have industrial capacity manufacturing machinery, such as a 250 ton CNC press break for bending capabilities of up to 5/16" over 11' 6'. We also have precision machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and an orbital welding system capable of seamlessly welding stainless steel process pipe. We can weld most commercially available metal, including stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, and titanium. Our shop is capable of fabricating and designing fixtures such as chutes, brackets, totes, hoppers, funnels, water tight barriers, and repairing heavy equipment. We are also fully equipped to make railings and gates ranging from utility usage to fine ornamental work. On the demolition side, we frequently remove bank vaults and gun safes. The company was started in 1986 by Bob Kalbfell, a Cornell University graduate. As of May of this year, his son, Bobby, graduated Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and has joined the business full time. We are reaching out to new companies now in an effort to bring our business to the next level, making new contacts in different markets and industries, such as industrial plant work and process piping. One of our long term customers is BASF, the former Engelhard plant in Peekskill, N.Y., Westchester Medical Center to fabricate a laundry plant and Mercy College. With the combination of new, fresh talent in design work and proficiency in CAD software, along with the expertise and precision of an established welding shop, we strongly feel we can generate a beneficial relationship with your company.
