About Irregular
If we want to make change, toward ways of life that are desirable for everyone - equitable, sustainable, kind, caring, joyful - then continuing to follow mainstream conventions and traditions probably isn’t going to help. Our work invites you to be more irregular… and as we each explore our own unique experiences, find ways towards connection and common ground. Being irregular requires curiosity and empathy, creativity and connection. We practice with the arts, language and consent, imagining and modelling in the here and now the future we want for humankind. Irregular is founded on the work of Jenn Wilson, performance artist, writer, producer, facilitator and coach. Jenn’s personal commitment to living and being ‘irregular’ (including occupying intersectional marginalised identities eg “queer” and “neurodivergent”) inspired Jenn to instigate the International Day of Consent (30th November annually) #IDoConsent in 2018, which Irregular continues to drive and champion.
