About Irvine Park Railroad
Irvine Park Railroad is a 1/3 sale train that takes both children and adults on a ride through beautiful and historic Irvine Regional Park. Located in the foothills of Orange, California (at Chapman Avenue @ Jamboree Boulevard), Irvine Park Railroad is open daily at 10:00 a.m. year round. Annual events include the Anniversary Celebration, Easter Eggstravaganza, Pumpkin Patch, and Christmas Train. Irvine Park Railroad offers field trips including Pumpkin Patch school tours and the 4th Grade California History Education Program. The 4th Grade California History Education Program meets the curriculum requirements for 4th grade history/social science standards for public schools (Section 4.3 and one-half of Section 4.4.). This program was created for teachers, by teachers. Party Pavillions and other areas are available to rent for company picnics and events, birthday parties, family reunions, fundraising events, and other gatherings. Moon bounce rentals are also offered. Wheel Fun Rentals® at Irvine Park bike and paddle boat rentals is also located within Irvine Regional Park. Bikes available to rent include a double and single surrey, tandem bike, quad sport, chopper, men's 3-speed bike, women's 3-speed bike, BMX bike, and kid's bike. Helmets are provided with every rental at no additional cost. Paddle boats are also available to rent and can be safely enjoyed by 2 to 3 riders. Life jackets are provided with every rental at no additional cost. Wheel Fun Rentals® at Irvine Park is open daily. Two full-service snack bars are located within the park and offer both hot and cold food, in addition to ice, charcoal, and other party supplies. Irvine Park Railroad proudly serves Coca-Cola® products. Other attractions inside of the park include: The OC Zoo, pony rides, horse rentals, and hiking trails.
