About Iskin Sisters

Iskin Sisters is an Argentinean brand with a strong emphasis on design, specialising in contemporary jewellery. It was established in 2004 by two sisters, Gabriela and Karina Iskin. It is a women-lead company and all our products are handmade by female artisans in our atelier in Buenos Aires. Statement In public spaces, rooms and exclusive buildings, in the intimacy of our homes or over our bodies. The ways in which art appears in our everyday lives are infinite, and are in constant expansion and transformation. It finds us in the places we dwell and visit, in the objects that surround us, and also in what we choose to wear and show on our bodies. From the merger of the folk crafts and arts, the combination of tradition, practice and expertise, the revaluation of handicrafts and the inventive aesthetic look, the inspiration of Iskin Sisters is born. We create pieces of contemporary jewellery with unique designs, disruptive concepts and innovative techniques, conceived for people all around the globe who feel identified with this view. Born in Brazil, from an Argentinian mother and settled in Buenos Aires, nourishing ourselves from different cultures and connecting with people in different places was essential to us. Our products are made and finished by hand in Argentina and then travel to design stores and museums in a variety of increasingly expanding countries, like the New York’s Guggenheim, the Washington DC’s National Gallery, the San Francisco’s SFMOMA and the Buenos Aires’ MALBA, among others. We share what moves us and establish special and long-lasting bonds. We recognize and identify ourselves as part of a community which perceives art as something of their own and nuclear, and chooses to express it in their own image. We welcome you to our universe.
