Established in 1980, the Islamic Center of Tacoma (ICT) has served as a cornerstone of faith, unity, and support for Pierce County’s diverse and growing Muslim community. In response to the region’s growing population, ICT was renovated in 2000, enhancing its capacity to offer worship services, educational programs, and meaningful social connections. In 2021, ICT was deeply impacted by a hate crime. Yet, through resilience and the unwavering support of our community, we emerged stronger. In 2023, ICT proudly relocated to a larger, more accommodating facility—one that reflects both growth and enduring commitment to inclusivity, peace, and service.
