Handmade in Hawaiʻi since 1946, Island Slipper is the last remaining Made in Hawaiʻi, local-born footwear brand. Walking side by side with the unique multi-cultural cultivation of Hawaiʻi itself, the slippers by Island Slipper truly express the Hawaiʻi culture and lifestyle. The brand is rich with over half a century of history that started with the Motonaga Family, who produced the original innovative sandals based on traditional Japanese style zori. In 1985, current owners John & Daisy Carpenter and Ohana took on the legacy of Island Slipper, elevating the brand further to its world-class reputation of high function, fashion conscious, high quality sandals the brand is now internationally reputed for. There are two Island Slipper store locations in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, where you can enjoy shopping more than 200 styles of menʻs and womenʻs slippers.
