About ISPOR South Africa Chapter
ISPOR IN SOUTH AFRICA: The ISPOR South Africa Chapter, established in 2007, is a registered non-profit association and a regional chapter of ISPOR International. We bring together a diverse community of professionals from healthcare, industry, academia, policy, and patient advocacy to advance health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) in South Africa. Through our conferences and webinars, we create opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem. These events connect established experts and early-career professionals, helping to build capacity and share knowledge that informs real-world decision-making. ISPOR SA also participates in multi-stakeholder initiatives and projects, including policy input, the OneHTA Project, and the Data Grant program, all aimed at supporting evidence-based healthcare decisions and improving access to high-quality data and research. In recognition of these efforts, ISPOR South Africa received the Outstanding Regional Chapter Award 2025 from ISPOR Global, celebrating our contributions to HEOR, education, and collaborative initiatives in the region. Join 100 like-minded professionals in our network and make a meaningful impact on healthcare in South Africa.
