About Israel Vehicle Importers Association

The Israel Vehicle Importers Association is a registered association, whose members are direct importers of passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses. Association's targets: • Preserving and promoting the interest of the Association's members and representing them before the authorities in Israel; • Acting to expand the professional knowledge of the Association's members and their employees; • Promoting the automotive industry in Israel, service and vehicle maintenance. It should be noted that Israel Vehicle Importers Association also acts to the benefit of the public by seeking to improve transport quality and driving safety, promoting environmental protection in the area and reducing air pollution and also acts for the community in various frameworks. The Association's activities include, among others: • Collecting, processing, producing and publishing statistics of vehicle registrations in Israel; • Handling and representing Association's members on common issues before the authorities in Israel (such as Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Finance and more); • Representing Association's members before various committees of the Israeli Parliament (the Knesset) in the process of legislating bills and regulations in the automotive and transport sectors including in general public issues such as road safety, car theft, taxation and more; • Representing Association's members before the local as well as the foreign media and press; • Cooperation with parallel organizations in Europe, extracting relevant information regarding the automotive and regulatory field in Western Europe, in order to advance the field in Israel; • Investing efforts into promoting road safety and advanced car technologies in Israel.
