About Israeli Movement

The Israeli Movement envisions a society where citizens democratically influence important decision-making in the country to live both freely and in solidarity. It’s our overarching mission to establish democratic frameworks that equally represent all citizens of the State of Israel. We aspire to bring forth this vision by combining bottom-up grassroots activity and top-down policy promotion. This amalgamation of people and politics establishes equitable democratic mechanisms including regionalism, social contract and other layers of representation that are currently absent from the Israeli political system. As advocates for change, we work alongside changemakers to formulate unique models for action that amplify voices and increase autonomy over matters that affect us all. Working to redefine relationships between citizens and government, The Israeli Movement assists, supports, connects and leverages initiatives to increase individual influence over important issues. Operating nationwide across Israel, our team provides training, guidance and topic research to equip changemakers with the skills, knowledge and understanding to establish greater representation across all demographics. We work alongside activists, council members and the public to organize, promote and support the citizens to democratically influence important-decision making to live in solidarity. So far we operated in various fields including democracy, education, homeland security, environmental issues, city infrastructure, Arab society, minority issues and more.
