About ISSA Raleigh Chapter
The ISSA is an international organization of Information Systems Security Professionals. The Raleigh North Carolina Chapter of the ISSA is a very active group, with hundreds of professionals from around the Raleigh/Durham/Cary/Chapel Hill/Research Triangle Park area. The Raleigh ISSA Chapter meets monthly, and averages 100-200 attendees every month. The meetings are preceded by a social hour with dinner and consist of a short report of chapter business followed by a technical presentation related to Information Systems Security. Raleigh ISSA hosts the annual Triangle InfoSeCon Conference in Raleigh each year, drawing hundreds of InfoSec professionals. In addition, Raleigh ISSA also hosts regular training and education events for its members, as well as job and career planning and job placement and headhunting facilitation.
